Jackson Daughety – DADA Excellence in Art given by Martin & Martin Design

Jackson Daughety – DADA Excellence in Art Award – for $1,000.  We would like to thank Monte and Georgia Martin with Martin & Martin Design (a fine art services co.) for supporting our art community and local artists by sponsoring this year’s award.

This scholarship goes to Jackson Daughety an exceptional artist whose work is an abstract depiction of a personal memory through performance. He will pursue a BFA in art with added interest in psychology. Well rounded, this artist has won awards in art, worked in art museum, exhibited his work and performed as a musician in our community.  He creates art that has a place in the current art landscape; he strives to create new techniques and describes his recent work as “found object printmaking”.
