Texas, It’s a Culture Thing- Opening Reception
Texas is a state of mind. We have a big attitude here, big and beautiful; and it is our diversity that makes it that way. Our culture is as contrasting as our landscape; and this is what makes Texas so unique. LuminArte Gallery is proud to present the third annual review of Texas based talent, Texas, It’s a Culture Thing will be on display, starting September 13th with a reception from 7-10 PM. Artwork includes paintings, sculpture and photography and will run through October 18th. Participating artists include Patricia Rodriguez, Elizabeth Schowachert, Morgan Addie Grasham, Trent Mann, Cathy Shepherd, Duke Horn, Ben Britt, John Milton, Jane Cornish Smith, Carol Ordemann, Elisabeth Schalij, Joseph Haubert, Steve Ko, Jim Lively, Rick Timmons, Antonia Lazaki, Melissa Stinson Ellis, Jeff McClung, Barbara Elam, Alex Remington, Gabrielle Pruitt, Tom Karges, Brad Albright, Leanne Venier, Bob Nunn, Adina Cicort, Faith Gantz, Jessica Manheim, Eric Hanson, Susan Bishop and Matt Anzak; and several artists will be in attendance in the opening reception. Both the reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
