JD Miller’s Annual VALENTINE’S DAY LIVE Painting

Join internationally acclaimed contemporary artist JD Miller on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5 – 8 pm for his annual Valentine’s Day LIVE painting performance at Samuel Lynne Galleries. This year’s event will once again be in our main gallery to incorporate a larger audience. Please note that children are welcome, and we will have a special seating area for them at the front of the stage. Viewers will have the unique opportunity to witness Miller’s artistic vision at work as he utilizes color, texture, and shape to create a visual masterpiece before their eyes.

Miller challenges conventional strategies and limitations of painting through the application of his 3-D oil technique, which combines chromatic expression with a sculptor’s application of paint to create multidimensional images on canvas. The influence of the crowd on Miller’s creative vision results in a completely unique and original painting. Just as the paint extends into space, the energy of the crowd is reflected back into every detail, curve, and stroke Miller employs. It is the reflection of positive energy that exists in a moment in time, a visual translation of a fleeting feeling unlike any other to come.

An avid believer in the law of attraction, Miller is the founder of the Reflectionist school of art and his artwork is the visual translation of his personal discoveries in his artistic journey. His work can be found in prestigious personal collections, museums, galleries, and public places around the world. Miller’s artistic innovations have earned him accolades from many publications and media outlets, both in the United States and internationally.
