Essential Elements
Essential Elements is a collection of figurative and abstract works created by 7 artists currently residing in Texas: J. Salvador Lopez (San Antonio/Dallas), Margaret Craig (San Antonio), Christopher J. Hernandez (San Antonio), Dan Maldonado (San Antonio), Brian Johnson (Austin), Victoria West (Dallas), and Juan J. Hernandez (Dallas). The exhibit examines the relationship between the innocence of physical appearance, spiritual ambiguity and the intersection of these human attributes with technology.
About J. Salvador Lopez:
Born in Long Beach, California, J. Salvador Lopez has lived in Texas since the age of eight, residing between Dallas and San Antonio. Lopez studied at San Antonio Arts Institute and Mountain View Community College. An active exhibitor, of his work he says he wishes to express his ideas and beliefs by creating a bridge between human trials and exploration of the spirit.
