Colombiarte

Colombiarte, a three part exhibition celebrating Colombian Independence Day features artworks in a variety of media and opens at LuminArte Gallery on August 24th, with a reception from 7-10pm. The international exhibition runs through September 21st, with a final reception to the public during the Dallas Art Dealers (DADA) Art Walk. Gallery hours during the DADA Art Walk are from noon until 8pm; and both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
Colombian artists residing inside the US and abroad are participating in a gala event held on July 20 at the Dallas Double Tree by Hilton, commemorating the Colombian Declaration of Independence. This prestigious event is followed by a showcase at the Milan Gallery, in Fort Worth’s historical Sundance Square from July 27-August 17 before moving to LuminArte Gallery in the Dallas Design District on August 24th. To commemorate this important historical event, LuminArte is proud to feature a brilliant collection of Colombian fine artworks by contemporary artists, including Bruno Angel, Alexandra Betancur, Antonio Cuellar, Luis Fernando Echeverri, Hortensia Manrique, Margarita Reyes, Diego Rodriguez, Rossana Solis, Cristina de Castro, Jaime Ferreyros, Maria Fernanda Cuartas, Lina Duque, Maky Villamil, Nubia Gala, Lucy Garcia, Lorena Fernandez, Beatriz Ocampo, Cesar Santafe, Myriam Bermudez, Adriana Arciniegas, Caty Cucalon, William Vargas, Armando Garcia, Magdalena Guerra, Xiomara Salinas, Juliana Ferreyros, Francisco Ceron and Alicia H. Torres.
