Brianna Burnett

The Brookhaven College Art Department is pleased to present an exhibition of cyanotypes by Brianna Burnett. While the cyanotype is a nineteenth century photographic printing process, subsequently used to produce blueprints of architectural and engineering drawings, Burnett’s works are not camera-based, but created as photograms, and frequently incorporate gold leaf. Burnett earned the MFA in photography and sculpture at Texas Tech University, and the BA in studio art at Austin College. She has taught at multiple institutions in Texas and Pittsburgh, and is currently a fulltime faculty member in fine art photography at Collin College.
