Art of the Tree: Charles Cramer

An exhibition of finely crafted photographic prints

February 18 – March 26, 2016

Big trees, small trees, lone trees, groves of trees, west coast trees, east coast trees, Southwest trees, Caddo Lake trees; this exhibition celebrates trees, a subject that Charles Cramer is known for far and wide. A master photographer and printer, Cramer studied with the great Ansel Adams… and learned well. Making fine prints has been his obsession for forty years. Only when you see his prints in person, and experience their brilliance and sharpness, do you fully appreciate them.

Charles Cramer is widely recognized as one of the top landscape photographers in the world today. It’s one thing to take great photographs and another to translate great photographs into luminous prints that “sing.” He excels in both! Almost two-dozen stunning large-format color prints will be on display during this exhibition. Sun to Moon Gallery invites the public to celebrate the art of the tree, Charles Cramer-style!
